Michael Impy

Michael Impellittiere has been the head coach of Hood College’s baseball program since August 2017, leading the Blazers to significant achievements. Under his guidance, the team achieved a 32-win season in his first year and reached the MAC Commonwealth Championship Game. In subsequent seasons, Hood excelled, with Impellittiere earning recognition as the conference coach of the year as he guided the program to its first No. 1 seed in its history. Impellittiere’s coaching prowess extended beyond wins, as his teams also garnered academic excellence awards. Prior to his coaching role, he played an integral part in Misericordia University’s baseball success and boasts a background in youth baseball organization and summer league coaching. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Misericordia and an MBA from Hood College.
